Default Question porting heads

I know that boost is actually a measure of resistance, etc. So I am thinking - I should probably work on getting this car to flow better.. Already have a Fast 78mm intake manifold, EPP FI Cam, and the restriction I feel is probably in the 317 heads.. Would it really be worth the work to do the porting and avoid changing the valves? Any idea of gains vs how much less boost, etc. Or anyone have experience, know of costs, etc in getting this done at a machine shop? I am probably doing a bottom end soon, thinking of keeping it a 346 or maybe 402, so any input is appreciated. Thanks!

your best bet is to leave the runners alone, get a bigger exhaust valve and intake if you want (intake isnt as important) and blend the bowl

560 is dam good on a stock bottom end, I run a set a patriot stg 3 heads with the bigger valves. The good news is with a 370 or 402 and a 76 gts and 14 psi you would be in the mid 700 hp range on the patriot heads. They not expensive either. I think u can send your 317 to them and they can also hook them up.

How dose the car run I bet it screams with that cam lol.

I had the same question as far as the porting...SUJOMATT, did you find someone that does porting? if so what kind of prices did you run into?
