is a traditional cam split better for a rear mount or is a reverse split better. im tryin to decide on a cam that i will run in my motor na for now and will do the sts later. also the cam would have to have -4 overlap or more cuz of smog. so is alot of overlap bad or good? i was thinkin about the tr 224/224 563/563 on a 114 or the tsp 224r cam which is 224/224 581/581 on a 114? any help on this is greatly appreciated thanks.

I've been told the comp 227/223 works rather well. Call shawn at virginia speed, he does a lot of rear mount cams

I'm running a stock GM LS6 cam and it's working well for me... my STS setup with 4200lbs went 10.4...

also can anyone tell me is an iron 370 better than a 347 ls1 for the sts build and y if so?

Yup, those LS6 cams seem to work quite well, 10.00 with a 3850lb race weight. Kinda pricey though at $50-$100.
