Which Snow Methanol Kit

Which Snow Methanol Kit
Looking at Snow Stage 2 and Stage 3 kits. Both kits use boost progressive controllers for injection. The biggest difference is that the stage 3 kit can also use injector pulse width. For a single turbo setup is the extra money worth it to be able to use the injector pulse width? Also what might the benefits be to using the PW?

I dunno, last time I touched an alkycontrol kit it was leaking on the dyno.. HMM yea you were there! remember??
nah, i would do that if it was a 'what meth kit is the best' thread.
GREAT QUESTION!
First picture is my first snow pump as it was mounted in May of 04
Not seen in the second picture, is that same original pump, still mounted to the backside of the bumper September of 06
Third picture.. I had to use a sawzall to extract the pump from the bumper.. notice that it is in the 'stuff to use for the new car' pile.
4th pic.. whoa this old pump has some kick!.. Still in use comming up on 6 yrs old.
why is everybody calling alkycontrol customer service? with all the 'activity' post-purchase I guess they are just getting good at it from practice?
I run my stuff triggered by boost direct to a relay, no controllers on the T/A. i did have a controller on the Typhoon, but It was set up very agressive to the point it probably wasnt doing much.
I would say get a controller only if you have no other way to control air fuel under boost.

Thanks for the info. My local tuner suggested the stage 3 snow kit since it had more tuning options but I could not come up with any reason to really need the PW.
So why is alkycontrol so great? Any advantages over Snow kits? Customer service is only a small part of buying a product and I will never buy a product just because customer service is good. I hope to never have to use it.

Great pump. Progressive controller and in-cab dial work Great. Several safety features. And customer service is very important before the sale as well as after. Julio and I custom pieced a kit together that was very specific to my application.
For instance, you can call him pretty much any time to discuss anything alcohol realted for your car. Once time he spent 30mins on the phone with me discussing options to move my resivor to the trunk.......WHILE HE WAS AT THE TRACK.
Snow could very well be a great kit, but I just have experience with Alkycontrol and give the product AND the customer service an A+.

Im running a basic Snow kit and have not had any problems. Goes 10s, wheels up, makes good power, and I drive it on the street. The ONLY thing I did replace was the boost/pressure switch. I replaced it with a HD adjustable honeywell unit. The original didnt fail, I broke it relocating it.
It has been a great kit.

Don't know if you are running the maf still or not but I have snow's maf kit....works great because even though the pcm maxes out on maf frequency, the snow controller keeps adding meth based on maf frequency...or at least that's what I think it does if memory serves....either way my afr's stay safe and the car runs great. You can set at what freq the pump starts spraying and then select a ramp up curve based on your car's needs.

They all claim their pumps can handle pure methanol.
Whilst Ive never used them, Alcohol Injection Systems certainly offer the best tank setups, where the pump, controller and tank are all combined into a neat installation package.
Other than things like that, I dont see anything to suggest anyone elses kit, is far better than the next seller.
FWIW< Ive been using a Snow progressive kit for a few years. I did have one pump failure, but Im guessing that was my fault as the car was laid up for 6-7 months over the winter with 100% meth sitting in it. It didnt seem to like that. It was one of the early pumps though which were never stated to handle 100% meth
