Default How much boost can I run with a 402 and twin 58's?

Does anyone have any idea on how much boost I can run with twin Precision 58's (TE-44's) on a built LS2 402? I'm currently running 14.5lbs of boost but was hoping to boost up to 17lbs.

Not sure how far those baby snails can go with 402", but out of curiosity how much power is the car making? Or what MPH does it run at the track?

alot of it's going to depend on your camshaft.we had a 427 with twin 59's and made 18lbs with no problem, probably would have went more but we made our power goal with that.

Asking how much boost you can run isn't a real question. I could weld your exhaust shut and you could run 100lbs of boost. As ninetres said, you need to know how much power you're making or how fast it's going to get an idea. Looks like those turbos make about 450whp on Buick turbo 6s... I'd venture you could make roughly 800whp on them. Boost is irrelevant to a point though.

I've never ran the car down the track. At 13lbs the car made 690rwhp.

The turbos are off the car right now and might need rebuilt. I figured if they won't porduce enough power than I would just buy new ones instead instead of having them rebuilt.
