3 bar MAP on 98 PCM
I've read that you can wire one in to read more than 14.7psi of boost, but is this true?
I'm planning on 20psi or 24psi of boost with the new setup, and have already found a 3 bar MAP with pigtail and everything.
Can someone who has done this before let me know if a simple cut and splice will take care of this? I really don't want to run a megasquirt on this car.

As I have it understood, you can use a 3 bar but you have to scale it to the 2 bar. So you are fudging all the VE table. Atleast you can translate it back with the logger (I've been told). I am running the stock 98 PCM with HPTuners 2 bar OS but pushing 19 psi. It uses the fueling values from the 215KPA line at the bottom of the table. It works but I honestly dont trust it and after having played with Closed Loop WBO2 correction, I have determined that it is neccesary, not optional.
