When to pin crank?

Is it always recommended or can you spin the blower to a certain speed/make a certain amount of boost before pinning the crank is required? Any recommendations on where to get a kit?

at stock boost levels you dont need to pin. when you start to up the boost levels then you need to pin

Always pin the crank if supercharged... No matter what boost level.

Great place for the crank pinning kit, they sell a ton of supercharger kits for vettes. I wish they had a setup for the f-body cause there kits are far superior too others.
