Yes, it looked like a balloon ready to pop on the dyno. Bob

I blew mine up 3 separate times before doing this final mod (pictured). The final and last time it blew up under WOT at the stripe and was like a NHRA Funny Car blowing the burst panel out of the body. It popped so loud I thought blew the engine but instead it broke my SS hood and blew out the SS grille onto the track from where the pressure released. The concussion was so violent it pushed up on the hood and it cracked the fiberglass at the strongest points - where the SS teardrop ribs were.
This was all with the aluminum one, in the end, I think the work I did would have survived more beatings, but I was tired of modifying this kit to get it to do what I wanted so I sold it all. It was one thing after another (belt slip, warm running engine temp, especially in traffic and hot summer temps, the need for secondary BOV's, bigger air intake and elbow, a larger air filter, additional cooling fans, air plenum mod, then the High IAT's were still high, etc.), although I was running 15#'s through it all (4.5" intercoolers). It just isn't designed for that. I suggest going with a FMIC or running 9#'s and calling it good

The C5 Corvette in the above link ran for several seasons on a road course with an ATI ProCharger D-1SC at 16 psi of boost, with the twin intercoolers. These intercoolers are almost identical to the f body intercoolers. The customer never had any problems with the combination. We then built a larger cube engine and went with an F-1C and still kept the twins. http://www.exoticperformanceplus.com...Car.php?car=40 Bob

I'm not selling them at the current time. Thanks for asking. Bob
