Hey is there anybody that has downsized there pulley to either a 2.95 or 2.75 pulley on there vortech g-trim and had a problem with there belt rubbing and what was your solution? did a smaller belt work or did you have to move your tensioner to a different position. If there is anybody out there that has done this which I'm sure there is can you please help. I put the 2.75 pulley on with the original belt and it rubs together but is it because the belt is just to long?

im running a 2.75 pulley and a shorter belt. i have no problems what so ever with any belt rubbing so i think your only problem is that your belt is too long.
what is your belt rubbing on?

I think your right the shorter belt will work, what brand (gates or goodyear) type of belt are you using and more important what is the length of the belt that you are using? and were did you get the belt it seems that ever 8 rib belt has to be special ordered. The belt is rubbing together with the belt right were the tensioner puts the tension on the belt.

I used a Napa micro-v pt#25080496 for my 2.75 pulley and just in case you go to a 2.50 use a 25080485
