Default 600whp turbo advice

I would hate to make another annoying "which turbo is best" thread but I wanna do enough research before making such an important decision. I'm in the beginning of my build on my 99 c5. I am building the engine i.e. forged rods, lower compression pistons and such and I was planning on a tailpipe turbo and this is where I need advice. I want to make a little over 600whp...about 620 or 630 whp from a turbo that will spool fully by 3000-3500 rpms. I am thinking on a Borg Warner s372 since my friend recommends it and can get a deal for one. I am keeping my stock cam so that is a factor obviously along with the catless pipe to the turbo. I appreciate any help and advice, even if you could just leave any numbers for shops or people that know their stuff.

if you are going rear mount, choose a turbo with the smaller a/r exhaust housing

also knowing how many CI the motor is would be very helpful when choosing the proper turbo

At www.forcedinductions.com they offer a new 92mm exhaust wheel in the T4 housing. I'm planning on adding a S400-82 with that wheel with a 1.25 AR for a rearmount for me. I'm shooting for over 900rwhp though. Talk with Jose at Forced Inductions. He will tell you if that turbo would work well for you.

Edit: Haha. Looks like Kyle beat me to the "call Jose" post.

Sounds great I'll deffenately give him a call. And the s372 has a .90 ar option, still too big? Ohhh and I'm staying stock CI
