hey guys the previous owner of my intercooler pipes was using a jgs bov but i want to use the synapse bov for my setup. i dont want to cut off the flange and reweld the synapse one on there so they make different adapters. problem is i guess jgs isnt very popular so they make an adapter for the hks, and tial. are either one of those 2 the same diameter as the jgs? please help...my last resort i'll cut the flange off and weld on the new one. thanks!

ps-if anyone is running a synapse bov please post up pics or a video i'd love to see it on a ls1 i think i'll be one of the few

the JGS 60 is a pretty cheap blow off valve. it uses a 2.25" V band connection. so all you gotta do it get a 2.25" V band and weld the new flange onto it. whats wrong with the JGS 60mm blow off valve? i loved mine!

Ok so 2.25 v band is that the same as a tial bov or hks? I'm not a fan of Jgs. I know it's a good bang for the buck but still

no the JGS uses the 2.25 v band. i'm only use JGS so i dont know what kind of flange the other BOVs use.

Been a while but I'm pretty sure the tial vband is a little different then the jgs. The jgs has a groove cut into it to seal.

ya i was going to put a rubber oring gasket in that groove. so as long as the diameter matches up that's all i need.
