Default turbo stock ls1 z28 ?s

Hello all,

First let me say that I have searched but still have a few questions.
I am looking into doing a turbo setup on my 02 z28 with 94K. Car has a lot of bolt ons but all stock internals.

From what I've seen the stock motor can handle around 500-550hp. I'm looking to do around 4-7 pounds of boost and I think that should put me around 450rwhp. Is thidonebad idea with almost 96k miles. The car will have a quality and conservative tune done. Also, how much boost can the stock fuel system handle before u need to switch out pump and/or injectors.

Thanks for any and all help

I think I replied on another thread of yours, but you'll need at least some 42# injectors and an upgraded fuel pump. Racetronix has a great drop in pump.

Posted question in another thread but its more appropriate for this one,

Would you need to do injectors and pump on low boost (4 lbs), or could the stock fuel system handle that? and then upgrade fuel system at a later time with other mods

Better to be safe than sorry. If you're maxing the injectors, you chance going lean and cracking a ringland. I've done this. You want to do it right the first time. Don't rush it.
