lot of guys, (myself included) get a 2 or 3 bar map sensor, and convert to speed density. the stock maf OFTEN is outflowed, and cannot read boost past a certain psi..i forget what....if your keeping the boost lower you should be able to stick with a maf, but if you have future plans, just make the switch!

MAF does not measure psi (pressure) it measures Air flow.

There are many ways around, one being purchasing the SLOT Hitachi MAF sensor, and/or using a larger diameter intake track to slow air velocity. You more than likely would not Max out the MAF when taking these steps, however, you would hit the ECM limit before hand, in your case probably 512g/sec. In which case, you can scale tables... you really have to know what your doing as you have to scale Injector tables and any table associated to g/cyl.

PowrMAF http://www.powrmax.com/PowrMAF%20100.html is another option.

In which case, SD is a much easier, tuner friendly option. It also adds the ability, pending which ECM to use Boost Enrichment.
