I'm nearing the finish of my engine conversion, I'm told by my tuner i need to put on a BOV as its a manual,
Where do i put it, pre cooler, after cooler, in the cooler??

And whats a good brand, Are the Tial valves worth the extra$$$$$

is 50mm a good size.

where do i put it
1 just after the turbo,
2 just before the TB
3 or from the the cooler

The BOV can go anywhere in the cold pipes. Wherever you feel you want it. I plan on running Turbosmarts 50mm on mine. I would definately do a 50mm though just to be safe.

Prochargers big red BOV seems to be most popular, but its expensive. I opted for a 50mm Tial. Just bought mine new for $227 (almost half as much as ATI's BOV).

I would go with something that is known though, and not an ebay brand. The super cheap ones seem great until they break on you and you end up spending the money again in the end on something good.

Thanks for the replies, I think I will get the Tial unit. as parts might be easier to get.

I went with the column of air momentum theory and mounted mine as close to the throttle body as possible. My "research" indicates it doesn't really make a practical difference though.

I would put it between the intercooler and the TB.

BTW, cool looking set-up, what is the application?
