Default Looking for pics of s475s in 4th gens

I'm looking to see where people are placing there turbos in 4th gens.
I dont want a maze of coolant hoses to go around the turbo, dp, or air filter.
The s475 is my number one choice because of the price and quality but the size of it might not make it the right choice.
I'll be using v-banded truck manifolds with a stood up rad.
Lets see some engine bay photos

No relocation here, stock location Modded a manual tensioner and mounted it low under it to keep tight.

Has anyone put the turbo with the filter and compressor where the battery used to be ?
This way I can run a full exhuast with an electric dump.
We cant get away with an exhaust like that.
I love the LT1 body. Lots real clean

My junk...I ran out of bends and used a "scrap" piece for the driver 90* going into the turbo flange while waiting on another U bend to come in.

lol...it's hacked up with a 1/4'' plate running against the back of the rail and 3/16'' on the ends welded on the inside and out and 3/8'' tabs to support the turbo. Here's my buddies car I stole the idea from and copied from. I'll do a little grinding and add some semi gloss to make her purrty. It looks like this video may answer your question...oil pan needs some loving now lol and it's been a 8.92 testing. I'm pretty confident my "hack job" will be OK.

It looks like too much work to mount the turbo where the battery was.
I'd like to do this without cutting up the engine bay anymore.
Is there room between the rad and engine ?

never too much work ha. i just stood the radiator up and cut a little slot for the ic piping. Pulling turbo was pie compared to headers. Not so sure theres enough room to fit a bw right in the middle but maybe

this is cheap *** t6 1.32 475

Thanks man. Hopefully I get my paid vacation this coming week. I was supposed to get it last week for the Huron special but **** happens. I'd rather get a welder and try it out.

OP if you don't want to notch the frame, you could change the angle and do it this way.
