Default Recommendations for 1968 c10 5.3 turbo build

I'd like to see this thing at a streetable 500whp. Don't want to get hung up on numbers, but that's about what I'm looking for, along with driveability. The truck will be a weekend cruiser and will see very minimal (if any) track time. I'd like to stay on a decent budget, but don't want to buy absolute **** parts. My main concern is the fuel system. I'll probably just order the Denmah kit for the turbo. I have a friend that's a good tuner.

The bolded parts are where I need some advice:

5.3/862 heads
4l60 (not long for this world)
GT45
Circle D 278mm 3000-3200
TSP 224/228 cam (too big?)
double valve springs/pushrods
? injectors
Corvette regulator (is this enough or do I need a rail return?)
Bosch 044 in-tank
3/8" fuel line
60mm WG
50mm BOV
3" intercooler

Thanks in advance.

I ran nearly the exact setup on my 68 and it made around 400 whp untuned on 7 psi. 60lb injectors, Aeromotive steallth 340 pump, 3/8" supply, 5/16" return stock truck rails. Get a good converter and it will make all the difference. Alot of it comes down to the tuner. Those are the 2 areas where it really pays to spend the money.

Thanks for the help. Did anything specific keep you from going over 7psi? Any complaints in general with that setup?

I ordered the converter yesterday. My head is swimming from all the searching I've been doing.

Nope, I just had the small spring in the wastegate. I was going to have it tuned and up it to 15 psi, as I had set it up to handle. But ended up selling the truck. I loved driving it
