What kinda weight mods have you done to the car? And are you class racing now?

Idk about 8s but I'll be going for single digits next season. 94Z with a forged 370, ported LSA heads, custom cam from Tick, custom T6 kit from Huron Speed, T6 BW S480, Viper spec T56 (until that breaks), McLeod RXT and a good amount of weight reduction...

I only plan on using the first 4 gears and stay straight

My car should be done come spring if I don't get lazy during winter... I don't think it's going to break any records but it should be enough to get into single digits with a 6spd and A/C

Supra's do it. Come on fbodys lol. Ive already debated with a few as to why they can do this besides the fact of endless money. The statement has been made that they make less torque yielding less shock on the driveline. All the power is up top. But I believe if im correct they weigh within 400 pounds of a full weight fbody if not closer to that weight.
Just think they are more comparable to our weight than mustang.
Just one example here.

I can only imagine Darin D will be in the 8's very soon with his fbody. It sounds like he's already started working on the improvements to get there without much trouble.

Darin's car has the trap to do it. He has gone deep 8's in multiple Supra's with a 6 speed.

So what would theses 9.2x f body's run on the street lets say? I know not anything like the track but seems like 1-2 shift would kill the tire...boost would have to be pretty low in the 1-2 shift??

Darin is also running a superlight triple disc (I believe) clutch setup on a featherweight auto flexplate. Total weight is under 20lbs if I remember our PMs.

Prob sold it because he knew how much of a pain in the *** it would be to get 8s out of it lol his goals were 8.5x but I dont think he had much of a chance. Comparing supras or mustangs to an f body is ridiculous lol
Either way that supra hauls ***!
