9.24@163 was the best pass today. 60 ft times were terrible but at least it is consistent. Made 6 passes all in the 9.3-9.2 range. Couldn't get it to 60 ft better than a 1.40, had a bunch of power pulled out of 1st gear just to get it to do that. Track wasn't great but i think its more these 2+ year old used tires from my supra that are the problem.
The lag in 2nd gear is really hurting me also, i either need to get it to pull all the way to 7500 so its at a higher speed in 2nd, or i need to put a 100-125 shot on it to bring the turbo back on quicker. 3rd and 4th are fine turbo is back online as soon as the throttle is open. Right now the car only makes power to about 6800, not sure if it's the cam or stock intake/tb, or what but it falls off pretty hard by 7000.
I think a small shot of nitrous and a new set of tires will be next, then possibly some better coils and ignition system and switch to E85..

yep, there are some tricks out there to get a hydraulic lifter to RPM, I used to shift my 6.0L/L92 setup 7700, and rev even high sometimes.
now with you being on boost I am sure you would need some better valvesprings than I ran, but lifter preload and having a short travel race lifter will do wonders.
