Default Turbo 5.3 help please

Not sure if I'm going with a single or twins yet but need help. Do I need to use head studs or just arp bolts and what head gasket should I use. Motor is out of a 02 Tahoe. Is there anything I need to change?
Using the Holley Dominator computer and a 4l80e trans. Want to be able to boost around 25lbs of boost.
What would be a good size for single or twins. Want around 1000 hp.

Better stud the heads for that much boost. Rods and pistons wouldn't be a bad idea either if you want it to last. I think the Camaro that was making 996 on a stock bottom 5.3 flew apart at the 29psi mark. It would probably last a while with the right tune if you just wanna run on a prayer. But if you have the money to at least get rods, pistons, studs then I'd definitely do that. Then boost the crap out of it lol.

Single s480 get you there. Its a popular choice. I'll try my luck with maxing out my s475. Since that's what's on my setup now. Making 800+ on a stock ls1 with cam now. Remember what I said about being on a prayer lol....??

Thanks. Eagle has a kit to make it a 6.0.
