Default EGT tuning with E85

not getting any feedback in the tuning section so I'll give it a go over here

Depends on so many factors, comp, timing, boost, air temp, prob location......

I have seen them be happy from 1250-1600 depending on the setup.

would the egt be different than a comparable set up with gas?

I have seen them be about 75-100*F lower then gas.

I'll give up a bit of power for a safe tune as I should have plenty

thinking right around 1300 is a good place to start

also interested in doing tune by cyl. some recent experiments on mr lee's car showed the EGTs were 300 deg apart when on the meth (I guess it's blowing back and making the rear cyl run rich

he went with a direct port meth and it really helped got it down to 100 deg apart without any tuning

Interesting thread. I want to run EGT setup on my car as well to fine tune. What EGT system are you running? I'm looking in to the altronics red alert system.
