I like my TCI outlaw shifter. You can get with or without buttons.

anxious to see how you like the bigger turbo can you post up more details on the jakes fuel system?

I'm trying to design an intank dual 450 walbro setup so I can run E85 on my TTiX build

I'd like to run the bigger turbos can you make the 62 66 fit on the c5 vette?

pretty sure I'm an older kit that has the 58s on it

still puts down 800 at the tire and squeezing more out won't be a problem on e85

To the top with a question...

I just ordered two Turbosmart Kompact 25mm BOVs to replace the plastic Boschs I have currently. After I ordered, I noticed the 34mm Kompact BOV and started wondering. The 25mm should be a direct swap, but it can't be much work at all to make the 34mm fit. Car had to hit the back burner while business took all my time. It's very close to running again with new turbos and drivetrain!

DKT is no longer. The guy who took over operations is a member here, FirebirdSS I think. Talk to him.

For the most part it's a Nasty Nate setup. Wish I did things differently, but I'm sure everything will work fine.

The fuel system consists of
Behind Bars Race Cars / Nasty fabricated tank
-10 to the rails
-8 off each rail to regualtor
-10 return
Magnafuel FPR and filters
Whoevers fuel rail kit. It was quite the fiasco!
Holley 12-1800 pump - I would do the Magnafuel 4303 if I could do it again.
Holley 160lb low impedance injectors
Holley Dominator do the work

On the fitment part... I'm not sure with the Corvette. It is very tight on the fbody and required quite a bit of work to fit them. I can't imagine fitting a 4" cover with a Corvette would be any easier!

Everything is installed. Ordered a CO2 boost control setup with dual Holley solenoids and finished the install a few weeks ago. Need to tie everything up.

Only things left to do:
Have to run 5V to the dome pressure sensor,
Run my vacuum lines for new BOVs and FPR.
Mount B&M shifter
Install MightyMouse catch can

I'm really hoping in the next 2 weeks I will crank it again, with all the new parts. Ordered a vacuum block, another Holley transducer, BOVs, vacuum line/fittings and misc items that always add up to $$$. Ready for the build to be done and enjoy it!

Hey thanks for your response on my thread! Im glad to hear that DKT is in different hands. The previous ownership did the name no favors.
I have a couple questions, and you can either PM or answer me on here if you wouldn't mind.
-How much are you into the 6766 turbo's?
-What type of modifications did it require to get them to fit?

I'm definitely interested in this upgrade. Also what have you done to your cooling system? With stock APS turbo's I have a hard time keeping temps down. I am on the stock radiator though. Judging from the pics your fitment looks tight! It looks like it will be a chore just to change the inlet air filters

Oh and did you remove your power steering? Unless I read that wrong thats the impression I got. Was that by choice or for space?

No shame here. It's just money, I'll make more of it.

I am into them for at least 5,000 dollars, I don't remember exactly. I also had to turn around and spend 90 dollars for the drain housings I never received, and never received money back for the "Package Deal" (500+ dollars). The money is vague because the dealings were vague. It wasn't cheap!

Changing filters would be a big pain. It's amazing how much **** is packed into the small space. I just messed with the filters on Sunday, cussing the whole time lol!

I removed it because I had to. My shop is really not setup for fab work. If you are a wizard with the metal, it may be possible to snake a 3" pipe towards the fender. I became frustrated with the lack of customer service when attempting to order steering shaft parts and decided to call Mr. Kevin at MWC again and order the manual steering rack. Was just sick of the problem and decided manual steering would be fine. Street car status might have just lowered according to some

I can post more pictures of whatever you need. Talking with a few guys through PM's about the APS kit and its upgrades/hassles... might be best to just post them for everyone to see and read.

Also, keep in mind I went with the 6766 with the 4" covers. It was the largest turbo you could squeeze in there at the time.

The 3" covers should be much easier, but the power potential lost may not be worth it.

What was the power expectations from the 3" covers? Im not even surprised by the price figures. I was expecting it to be that high. Sometimes I wonder if Im better off pulling my APS kit, selling it, and going with a big single turbo setup. Id like to hit 1000hp and single turbo's are very capable of that. Everything about the APS kit seems expensive. Although the fitment and the way that all the ammenities are retained is very nice. Well, maybe not so much for you anymore.... Im anxious for you to start driving it to see how well your coolant system works and how big of a pain no power steering is.

Looks like the designers intended the birds to have a fat radial in the back from the beginning, looks so damn good

1,000 should be no problem at all with gen 2 6266 or the 6766.

Still have the car! Car is driving on the roads almost daily. Trying to get these first 500 miles of break in for the rear end is terrible. S Trac drives great on the street so far, but the break in is boring. 500 miles to me on my brand new build is a long time

My Leash Electronics wiring board ships this week and I can't wait to rewire the car, the right way.

No numbers, for the sheer fact of the the rear end needing to be babied. I can tell you that 3-4 psi hits really quick,on accident. I haven't even come close to going WOT, so I can't tell you much of anything fun. Have the CO2 system turned off, just running spring pressure. Thus, no updates.

Otherwise, car is running with everything new I threw at it. Had a few issues of course and I've learned a bunch, but I have been happy so far for the amount changed in one run. Here's couple pictures of stuff. Have some Go Pro video that needs to be uploaded.

Completed suspension/drivetrain/exhaust. Up front I also added a set of upper and lower MWC A arms. Exhaust installed but I guess before mounting:

The moment this car gets over its baby miles, it will see the track and/or dyno, rest assured!

Yea, no ****. The mother ****** might be wore out at 500 miles. I break everything in the same way (motors, transmissions, rears)...........turn the corner off my street and do 300 foot rolling burnouts.
