Default T4 vs T6

Being new to turbo's, other than size, any advantage to T4 or T6 flange
spooling, more for street driving, etc
I used to see mostly T4 stuff, now seems more T6
how do you decide

Most times by your cubes.

Alot of ppl in the forum will say anything over 370 cubes will be better off with a T6 turbo for better power, more boost and to prevent back pressure issues. It sure has worked out fantastic for alot of guys soo T6's are really popular.

T6 hands down for the track and making the most hp from a given turbo, but a T4 setup can work really well for a foot brake car 370CI or less. If I ever take my car to the next level I will be upgrading to a T6 hotside. There would be at least .2 tenths there. The reason my car is T4 is because I originally built it to race in high altitude.

Flange size depends on your build specs and goals. How much street driving, racing, engine size, manual or auto? etc...both T4 and T6 are very capable given a proper set up.
