when I was 19 I swapped a 2001 5.3 in with a th350 and a trans brake. I built the tranny k member, the motor mounts, the engine harness, the turbo kit... and loaded a 2 bar operating system on the factory pcm and tunes it myself. And I had it running and finished 2 months after I had pulled the Lt1
12-13 years later that car is still running exactly as I built it... even after being flogged on by 5 different owners for over a decade.
This is all pretty simple. Just a lot of little steps along the way!

How far is the bell housing from the firewall. ? You may have it further forward them some may think. This is kinda fuzzy without seeing the setup.

I have a couple recommendations.
first tuning out DOD works but it leaves the **** dod lifters behind so you can't raise the rpm above 6000rpm and the eight DOD lifters cause some weird valvetrain stuff to happen in a performance engine. That ones pretty easy to fix.
second one im sure you'll say bull and probably a few others but here I go on my soap box. Ditch the 6l80e. Not because of strength but because on a forced induction engine you dont need that 4.03 first gear. It is actually a detriment. It turns your car into a spin master. Go 4l80 and the 2.48 1st will help get you off the line. Its true the deeper gear in the 6l80 will give you mechanical advantage but with forced induction you just don't need it. your car will be faster with out it. It will get up on the converter easier and will help a turbo spool. I did everything I could to make my 6l80 work and when I swapped to 4l80 even though it was supposed to rob so much power i dropped a .5 second in the quarter because I could actually leave on a decent amount of boost without blowing the tires off. If your just stuck on using the 6l go procharger. It will help to tame some of the launch power since it boosts by rpm and you won't be launching at max boost.
just an opinion. But an opinion based on experience.

On my Monte Carlo ss im doing a lq9 swap with heads and cam and in the future after doing so want to put a Vortech supercharger on it what’s a good drive shaft to support that power? Probably gonna be around 700+hp after the supercharger
Also forgot going to use a T56 magnum transmission.

Since you have LS3 heads, an LSA or LS9 blower may be an option. Although hood clearance and/or fitting it under the cowl may become a problem.
A centri blower will allow you to use the intake as it is installed now, and the headers you got specifically for this swap. I like ProCharger, personally, but there are multiple options.
