2500 4x4 construction truck. Diffs and tranny will handle any power you throw at it, and you can choose to boil the rear tires or have 4x4 traction. That would embarrass almost anyone......

I'll get it in the car and get it tuned. Its a pulg and play in the car, fuel system, trans, rear end, efi, Race pak with 8-o2's and 8-EGTS,g-meter, temp and pressure sensors, suspension all done allready.
Is it worth changing the exhaust side on the 475 to a t-4?
I was thinking t-4 83mm 1.1?
Would the smaller housing still pull to 160+ on the interstate, not that i'm going to go 160+ in a 4x4 truck, but can see it in a 2600lb car for the spring.

Just like seeing what everyone else thinks. its funny that the frist couple were rx7 with a 6 speed then goes all the way to 3/4ton 4x4 trucks.
Would like to hear all the options. i'm sure it will end up in a camaro in the spring, has i got one sitting out back begging the firebird to share some of its parts. and quit be so greedy. LOL. Proulby got enough parts to slam that thing together for the cheep.
sometimes i think i want that pinto.LMAO.

I would pick something 4 wheel drive so I could enjoy it all year.
IF I ever relocate to where it snows for months on end, a 2-door 95-96 4x4 Tahoe would be on my radar. They are not that heavy, have the nicer looking dash, room for turbo, haul 4 people easily. Basically it would be a full size Typhoon.
...that's my opinion. But build whatever YOU like, your money, time, and effort.
Fast is fast no matter what it looks like.

Ive got plans for a 2500hd/3500hd construction crew trucks dually. Second job has half a dozen of them in the 2002-2006 era. I think one of these with a turbo'ed 6.0 with the truck lect in totally sfock looking trimi mean flatbed, business stickers, truck numbers on fhe fenders etc would be a bitchin sleeper. Take the dual tires off of the back maybe and convert to a big wide wheel/tire combo similar to how the semi trucks convert over to the super singles on their drive tires.
Interested in seeing where you take that truck!

The pickup is a great idea. My last project was a '92 Dodge 3/4 ton 4wd diesel. Looked like grandpa's old hay truck. Dyno'd over 1k at the tires, and ran 10.91@129 with street tires. From an 80mph roll it was impressive. I humiliated a couple of vehicles by easily outrunning them with my 14ft gooseneck trailer in tow. I do miss that.

Need to pull the trigger on a turbo. So I can start on the hot side. Hanking motor this weekend.
I can get a great deal on a s475 t6 83mm 1.10.
Will the t6 housing be ok. I would like to use a t6 because I can see it getting a 6.0l and a billet 80 or something later in life.
like to make 700 ftlbs. SBE 5.3l with cam and springs. Truck weights 4000+, Turbo 400, 208 transfer case, 4:10 gears, 37 inch tires. Cam i have is a comp 217 in 213exhaust .605 in .605 ex 112.5+6. It was speed for a gt45 but may get changed depending....
