Without an AC condenser it should be cake especially if your turbo isn't right in front of the crank pulley. Pull the upper shroud and tilt the bottom of the radiator forward as far as you can in the lower support. Then when you tilt the top up you'll see it hit the upper radiator support in the corners. If you notch those corners of the upper support and cut the tabs on the radiator where the ac condenser would you mount you'll gain quite a bit of space. Then the fans should slide in behind the radiator, maybe with some trimming towards the bottom.

That's my plan, but I'm running twin 70mm turbos with the Huron speed up pipes, the waste gates getting in the way is what I'm worried about

likely the radiator is the issue, not the fans...
but if you want to upgrade the fans, you could get a c5 upgrade fan setup from dewitt radiator..
we've put them in several customers cars now...
flow 3200 cfm(that is more than double what the stock fans flow), and fits the vett and camaro radiators
its $450 shipped...but well worth it

5.3 turbo 76mm s10. Using stock 4.3 radiator with intrepid fans. 190* stat.
Lol I let it idle for four hours because I needed to get the 93 octane out of my tank. I switched over to e85 for my turbo setup.

s25hanh what 16" fan do you have now. I have a Zirgo and some people swear by them but I already had one melt on me. Its rated at 3200 cfm but people claim thats a false number. Has anyone else dealt with zirgo?
Im actually using an Orielly's fan that is rated at 2100cfm and the 16in SPAL I'm about to install is 2300 cfm I think. And ill be installing the shitty ebay 10in pusher fan on the front of the rad, pass side. and SPAL on the back of the rad, driver side.

you could have just disconnected the fuel fitting and put 12v to the fuel pump wire at the fuse box and it would have pumped out a full tank in about 5 minutes..LOL

I have had very similar issues with my chevelle swap. I replaced coolant for just water and water wetter, then back to a 20% mix , flushed the system, replaced water pump, verified accurate temp readings, bled and bled, adjusted tune every which way, and diagnosed many things and can only see getting an expansion tank and/or replacing the lt1 fans with some intrepid fans at this point on my combo. The intrepid fans can be had for cheap and flow very well. And the factory style expansion tanks will benefit a system regardless.
