Here goes, finally got the car on the rollers and things didn't go so well. it was struggling to make power, it made 561 before it started having a lot of blow by, at first we were thinking the rings were not seated. after tearing it down for a closer look found #1-#3 and #7 pistons were broke on the second ring gland. So we got a new set of wiseco 3.800 pistons on the way and a set of callys H-beams, going to go with a little John cam shaft with tooly springs. Hopefully things will go a little better this go round. Stay tuned

Have any info on how you did the manifolds? I'm doing the same on a 79 but am worried about clearance issues. I was just planning on running them up and forward.

Once I get started putting everything back together I'll post some more detailed pic's. I have several that I have taken from the first go around just haven't posted. For the guys that have any questions pm me and I'll be glad to post up some pics. Sorry I don't document every little aspect of my build, I'm more concerned about getting things worked out and then I'll update.

Btw I am glad you kept the solid front bumper instead of putting the RS ones on, its nice to see that on the 70-73 body style
