1000 bucks? Compared to like a Proflow I agree but FAST 102's aren't exactly cheap either. Larger plenum volume,..I would also like to see how it does on FI.

I am wondering if it will even fit c5/c6.

So much for driving prices down for Fast Products. but promising gains over the competition. should be interesting.

Looks quite good, and large plenum is good.

Would be nice to see a choice of runner lengths. ie long and short which may help steer it towards lower or higher rpm use too.

Nice compact design too.

Only other plastic intake that I like the look of is the LSXRT truck manifold...but it's huge.

I met up with and talked to both Lingenfelter and MSD at SEMA. I let them know who I was on this board, and that I'd be willing to test their new intake and do a writeup.

I will say this, the runners were impressive with how straight of a shot they are to the intake valve. The increase plenum volume looks promising as well. It also has a reinforced underside, which was a weak spot with the other manifolds out there.

As for pricing, it's already been listed on some of the mailorder places for $9xx, but that's the MSRP, I have a feeling it'll go lower than that.

As soon as I get my hands on one, you guys will be the first to hear from me with my real world impressions. From how it fits in the car, to how well it holds boost. I'll do a writeup on the install, and anything that you would need to be aware of.
Stay tuned.

I was literally getting ready to order a Fast 92mm to replace my LS6, but I just saw this thread, maybe I should just wait and see what this MSD is capable of with boost.

You're right. I would just wait on your personal feedback on this product.

Looks like Fast will have to step it up or price it down a little. The guys are saying it performed better out of the box than the competitor's ported stuff. I just wonder if the competitor was actually fast or one of the aluminum turds.

Probably the same as the rest seeing as they didn't address the FI capabilities. If it where my product and I knew the competitor was literally cracking under pressure I would have exploited the fact.

If you look at where the FAST manifolds crack, it's usually in the valley area due to flex, so look at the bottom of the MSD and you see extra bracing ribs just like the LS6 has. Notice that they made provisions for the intake to fit over the bolts of the valley cover? I have a feeling that the intake floor sits against the valley cover, so that should help stabilize the bottom of the intake.

It definitely felt heavier and more solid than my FAST. We'll see when I get them side by side.
