Twin on3 7876
Hey guys,
I currently got an amazing deal on on3 7876. I really couldn't argue the price, so I went a head and purchased them. I am just curious how people think the turbos will spool on a 402ci w/2.25 piping for my hotside. if anyone has any input that would help out significantly.
Would you guys keep the turbos? I mean I got a deal on them I think its worth trying. I'm sure bumping up my comp, and adding timing will increase the spool time.

There was thread somewhere in the FI section where we were discussing this turbo. At first it seemed rather disappointing but I thought recent results put someone people into the 9's. In single turbo configuration it seems that these turbos are better suited for the smaller displacement (4.8 and 5.3) motors. I am sure twins would be a whole different animal for larger displacement turbos.
Here is one thread with that turbo being used: https://ls1tech.com/forums/forced-in...k-results.html
Here is the 78/76 thread:

I wish there was more information about the turbos. I don't think it will actually be that bad I could possibly just try them out for a season, see what they do, and report back. Who knows a twin set up on this could possibly work.
I think you pretty much hit the nail on the head, I mean if twin on3 70/76mm turbos can work on 5.3's I think a 7876 will work on a 6.6L
