Oil pickup hitting oil pan question

Oil pickup hitting oil pan question I have a 2000 4.8 that I am throwing in my 1971 Camaro. I bought a Camaro LS1 oil pan for clearance but when I tried to put it on the oil pickup that came with the new pan is hitting the bottom of the pan. From what I found this should be a straight swap with no mods. Any feedback would be great before I start bending or cutting.
