Default boost controller

Have a Single 76 on a LS. Running a Holley Dominator. Looking for a boost controller. Manual or Electronic. Was told i need to run 2 Holley Controllers with CO2. This is a street car and don't want to always have to have Co2. Let me know what you guys have used. Thanks

I just bought an innovate scg 1 which is a boost controller and wide band in one. It allows you to cut boost if things go lean which is nice. Basically if you want to be changing boost all the time and you want to be able to mess with it, get an electronic one. If you want to save money, go ball and spring. Pretty simple

I'm using a gforce2
More features and a few bucks cheaper than an eboost or similar basic electronic controller

So you wont be using the Holley to control boost ? Why ?

And certainly no need for CO2

I wouldnt be using the Holley in the first place lol.

But as it can do it, and it can do it without CO2, just run it as a normal boost control setup.

You could use 1 or 2 solenoids.

Speak to whoever is tuning it for you and I'm sure they can advise.

If your not playing with progressive control you can also use a $3 manual controller and "F" all that electronics BS.

I did the little manual boost controller for a while and hated turning the **** and not knowing what was going to happen. Also did not like the inconsistency of the weather changing the settings with better/worse air. I did compressed air and dome control. It is so nice to command a boost level and to hit it dead on. I’m just picky but hope this helps!

Same exact thing can be done with intake manifold pressure and a $25 3 port MAC valve. I just don't see the need for most to run C02. Unless you are competing and need alot more resolution/speed in the WG actuation. They are defiantly better, don't get me wrong. But they are only slightly better than a setup that costs 1/10th the $ IMO.
