So I'm no expert on cam selection. But I did request a custom cam spec from a very reputable source and I'm curious what you guys think about it. I understand I may be asking for a layman's interpretation of an expert's advice. But I know at least a few people on here TRULY know what they're talking about when it comes to cam science.

My build is a C5 Corvette remote mount TT setup similar to UPP (front fender mount) with Garrett GT3076r's .63 ar. 317 heads, .051 gasket, stock bottom end LS1.

Cam spec: 226/235 .605/.610 114+5.

I asked for good streetability, quick spool and more emphasis on room under the curve than top end power numbers. This is a "near" daily driver but I want to feel it quick when I hit the pedal.

Anyone able to shed some light on WHY its fine for my setup? Ie. What are thr numbers doing for me. Also, will the blue springs handle the lift? Thanks.

If you purchased the cam from a reputable source then don't worry about asking people on an internet forum what they think because they are just guessing. Also ask the cam guy what springs he recommends, I can guarantee it won't be factory blue springs with this application. Actually I would have thought he would have recommended some springs to be used specifically for this application.

All of that being said from one internet forum member to another I say it looks good to me but those specs are pretty generic and don't tell you much about what it actually is.
