Default Twin s475 83mm turbine 1.10t6 on 352" ls?

Got these sitting on the shelf. S475 83mm turbine 1.10t6. Box stock. Wonder how they would spool. Sleeved Aluminum block. 3.928 bore 3.622 stroke. Callies magnum crank Oliver rods. Diamond 10:1 pistons. 1/8 drag racing. Holley EFI. On meth. Turbo 400 trans. 2800lbs. Cam and conveter still need to be ordered. Was going to build a 540 bbc but I was told they are a little small for that. Want to make 1400+fwhp.

Like stock re-sleeved? Why such a small bore at such a huge expense? If stock, i say no way it'll survive @ those power levels.
Just curious....

It's a bunch of stuff I got laying around. Small bore was some class limited ****. I'm not worried about if it will live. Wanting to prove some things. How do you feel about the turbos?

Oh OK, gotcha. Based on the specs of the turbos and cubes, honestly one would be totally adequate. With 2 you'd probably have to spray to ***** off it to get it outta the hole. So yea,i would run one.

I don't think one will make the power he wants to make.

One is definitely not going to make that kind of power. Probably good for 800.
I'm not against buying new turbos for this. Just trying to use what I have. Need to make at least 1400.
I could make it 388". But it's a comp star crank and rods.

True, but neither will that block for long either. Put all those guts in a cast block, even a good used one if you want to save a few bucks. It'll survive a little longer, atleast until the 4 bolt head gasket gives....

Honestly if you are looking to make 1400 hp you need to start over with an LSX block or RHS block.
And no, those S475 turbos will not work very well for a 352" engine.

What turbos would you recommend for this?

If you already have them, run it. A 200 shot will get them up on the converter and lit in less than 2 seconds. Block would be the main concern IMO.

Give Jose at FI a shout... Grab a pair of .90 T4 housings.... swap them out and Bolt em up!!!

Right cam and converter.... those units will light just fine on that motor....if you swap the turbine housings...

If we can make a pair of Billet 76's get to the chip at 8 psi and 3900 rpm in under 1.5 seconds... Those will get there on that motor in a little bit more time no problem.

Thanks John.
Sent him a email yesterday and said s476 83mm would be fine. I sent him one back asking about the turbine housings.
As for the block it's a Resleeved LS2. Sleeves are .150 thick with the deck all welded up. Pinned billet main caps. And is filled to the deck. I don't think 1400hp is asking to much from this block. Trying to learn and prove a few things.
