Default I finally dyno'd the car. 862/758 spinning the tires.

Needless to say I'm happy.

AFR was 11.0 the entire pull, a little rich, but plenty safe if the meoh fails for some reason.

Timing was again very conservative and safe, 14.5 degrees from 4000 to redline.

Here is the data log from the dyno. As you can see, the afr was commanded to 11.41, but it was almost a full point richer. If you look at the boost curve, it leveled off at 16psi, which I think is from the truck inlet hat and filter combo just not getting enough air on the dyno. A fan in front of the car is quite different than airflow would have been on the street, so who knows. Also, you can see the timing was very conservative at 14.5 degrees from 4300 to redline. Again very safe on the street. I want this motor combo to last.

As I said in the video, the tires were spinning on the dyno from 4000-5500 rpm, so adding more timing, or leaning it out would have only made the situation worse.

I know, I need better tires... maybe one day when these are done.

That thing is a beast man, congrats. I read your whole build a few months back, I really like what you did with it.

Thanks guys. No doubt it has a 9xx in it with some tweaks and adjustments, but to be honest, it's just a number.

I review my data logs all the time, and I rarely ever go to WOT, or shift above 4000rpm... hell why do I need to if I'm making 700ft/lbs of torque at the wheels at 4000rpm.

I love this car.

LOL, it's a slippery slope at this stage of the game.

Looking at the data, I'm close to maxing out the injectors at this setup. Part of the issue is I'm on the stock line from the tank, and stock regulator. So at 16psi of boost, the injectors only flow rail pressure (~60psi) - boost pressure (16psi), so net of 44psi, which is why they are at ~95% IDC. So the next step is to put in a new feed line, and boost referenced regulator. The next question is can the fuel pumps I have keep up? They are walbro 255s, so maybe, maybe not.
Next is the wheel tire combo. I love the look of the car and the handling with the current CCW combo which are 19x9s up front, and 19x10.5s in the rears. Maybe I sell them and go to an 18" setup with 18x11.5 in the rear and put on a 325/35/18 tire.

Well the next problem is the stock rear. Yes, I'm on the stock rear right now, which is living. It's quiet, doesn't leak, so it's living for now, haha.

So to step up, would be expensive, and for what? It's a fun street car.

So for now... power wise, it's done.

Way to go Brien. Like I said on FB, you should be really proud of it. On a side note, how does the new blower sound in comparison to the D1SC blower?

Thanks. I gained 100ft/lbs of torque at 4000rpm from my old setup, it's quite fun on the street.

I am extremely proud. I had some help and guidance, but the setup is mine, and tuned by me, and I'm proud that the numbers reflected a well thought out setup. There is still a good 100hp left in it, but I doubt I'll push it to that point, there is too much I would need to do, and it wouldn't be usable on the street.

As for the difference in sound, I honestly can't tell the difference. My buddy bought my D1, and is in the process of installing it, so when he gets finished, I'll get both cars side by side and do a video comparing the two. It's hard to compare them when it was a good 8 months apart from hearing the D1 till I heard the F1a.

No doubt there is more left in the setup, but like you said, what's the point in pushing it that far when it's a street car that doesn't need to make 1,000 HP to be fun.
