Getting more of the stock electronics to work. Megasquirt can control the stock cooling fan speed controller with a PWM output. Setup a test to increase the fan speed vs TPS.

Made a gauge pod to fit in the stock ashtray and had a buddy 3d print it for me.

Nice job on that gauge panel. I would love to have that done with my gauges. Is it hard to get the dimensions set up for it or does he scan the panel first?

I drew up the gauge panel in cad by just measuring the panel where I wanted it to fit. I print the profile of the model on paper at a scale to double-check the dimensions and fit. Takes a little practice but once you do a couple it's not too bad.

Got the car moving under its own power, enough to get a little bit of turbo noise out of it. I had to pull it back apart to fix the turbo drain that was poorly placed and causing some smoke.

While it is apart I started putting the ac compressor into the car. I ended up using the BMW compressor to simplify plumbing and wiring. I needed to run the compressor off the front belt for clearance behind it for the hotside.

New updates. Getting the AC lines taken car of. Built a few aluminum barbs to weld on the existing lines so I could crimp on rubber hose. The AC compressor was right in the way of one of the cold side pipes so I had to redo that. Relocated the turbo oil drain the the front cover. Also picked up some new wheels and tire, car fit a 275/35/18 on the back with out any issue.

In the exhaust cutout video I could only hear birds chirping with it running and closed! I didn't even realize it was running! Nice.....

Did you sort out the tach signal issue? I would love to do this to a wagon.

Very nice! I've got an LS3 going into an E90 M3. Was looking at that aluminum radiator as well.

Not sure if you are joking about the turbo? Its a VS 7875. The cooling fan is the stock bmw fan.
