S10 Beater/Sleeper Build 5.3 Twin Hx35s
I got a 92 Ext Cab S10 for free
2002 5.3 8:5to1 CR.....
Couple Hx35s that need a Home......
WHY NOT?!?!?!
Bed mount both of these snails right behind the Cab in the bed
Anyone else ran a couple Holsets on an LS build before?

I already have the Motor and Trans in the truck and the Engine Cross Member notched and done w a F-Body Oil pan w plenty of room
I got the Mounts from Current Performance and the Shorty Swap Headers from his site Patriot Brand.
Even w the Motor set all the way back the Drivers Header is way to close to the Frame for me...
I'm gonna take the mounts back out and put them in the mill and make it so I can slide her back another 1/2in
The 4l65e I have that I was using for mock up is going to be put in my 03 SS Silverado and I'm gonna stick a Th350/Th400 in it w a RMWB, Had one in my Firehawk and it was fun as hell!
Seeing how im going to mount the Turbos, I'm rocking the idea around of running 1 Wastegate, less BS to fab and 1 less WG to worry about not matching the other WG etc etc etc
Size of the WG is what I'm wondering about.....
Its just a stock 5.3 w a BTR Cam of what ever he recommends......I have a 6.0 that may find its way in the S10 after I push on that 5.3 for fun and smoke it lol
If I place the Single WG correctly and it all flows nice I don't see why rocking 1 wouldn't work, I have always been the "keep it simple, stupid" type.
Isn't getting the WGs to open up at the same time the PITA part of everyone usually running twin's that makes them switch to a big single?

I was gonna run the exhaust like so.....(Turbos mounted right behind the Cab up In the bed)
From the Shorty headers back, 90* up into the bed both side by side (about and 1" or 2" between the 2 pipes)
So the pipes are straight up vertical now, 90* bend from there to point each pipe towards each bed side of the bed.
Right there at that 90* bend or right before it, upside down Y into the Single WG (WG now sits right up top of both 90s in the middle of them.
Turbos are going to be located up the very front corners of the bed when all said and down
Just my thoughts on this for now...

I am getting the other Turbo this Sat, I have to make a Cross Bar to go in the bed from left side of the frame to the right for something for the turbos to be supported off of and the Hx35 Turbo Outlet Flange I'm going to have to make myself w a couple extra mounting tabs built into the flange, add a couple tabs off the cross bar and Hang the Turbos and go to town w some piping next.
Ill get pics up as soon as I can, I mostly post from work and I cant upload jack crap from these PCs, they have that all locked out...
Flange is attached
