TC78 stock bottom build thread
Starting a build thread for my new project 02 ws6 m6. Plans are for a truck manifold system. A turbonetics "Benita" hurricane series hair dryer with a 78mm inducer, 68mm f1 turbine, and 1.15ar housing will make the air. I have a front mounted intercooler but I'm still contemplating pump gas and washer fluid or e85. I have E all over the place here in Colorado, but pump gas is everywhere.
Looking to find that hp level somewhere between 500-600 rwhp on the street. The current setup will be on a stock 347, with future plans of a forged 5.3 legitimate build in the future while I'm having fun on 8#.
Fuel system wise I was thinking about one of the magnafuel 625 pump, -10 feed, -8 return, with a boost referenced return style regulator.
I'll start coming apart with the car this week, anyone have any tips, pointers, or things to be on the lookout for to make the install process go as smoothly as possible? thanks in advance!

Intercooler is ceracoated in transfer grey, shields and hot side parts are ceramic coated, and the cold side is powder coated metallic grey. A tial mvr gate and synapse bov will regulate everything.

Made a bit of progress. Chopped out the core support and stood up a griffin radiator and utilized the stock fans in their puller formation by chopping up the molding. Mounted the intercooler, welded o2 bungs in the crossover, got the hotside mounted up, installed a set of 80# injectors on billet rails, installed a magnafuel fpr, fabbed up a top mount alternator bracket, and built and installed all the fuel lines to make it a true return style system utilizing the evap line as a return. I still need to install the walbro 465lph e85 pump and caspers hotwire, relocate the battery to the rear spare tire storage, and it looks like im gonna have to run a scavenge pump on the turbo. All in all its voming along nicely.

Ya im gonna stay with yhe corn. I only went with a single 450 pump on purpose, keeps me from getting to greedy on the stock bottom. I would think the deka 80s on a 60# base with the 450 moving 105 gph on that base should get me to the 600 hp mark behind my t56. 10# or 600hp which ever comes first is where ill shut it down on the dyno. In the meantime ill start looking for a good start on a 5.3 or 6.0, ive got a hard on for a 6.0/cnc ls3 heads/ sheetmetal manifold/and 25#
