Default f1a on 402 stroker

I recently decided to upgrade my 06 gto from a p1sc to a d1 but found a brand new f1a that I couldn't pass up. Motor a ls2 402 stroker. Custom comp cam .589 lift, Ls6 stage 3 patriot heads, forged eagle crank and pistons, Lunati link bar lifters, comp moly pushrods, scorpion rocker arms, 8 .5 to 1 compression and the list goes on. I'm hoping to be conservative with the tune maybe run a 5 inch pulley on the blower but what kind of power should I expect with that. I'm hoping to keep boost around 10 lbs. Iv got some work to do to the tranny and rear so that's why im trying to keep the power down for now.

I know it was built to that compression when I got it, it was built to be safe. It made 585 on a p1sc at 10 lbs with this set up. Tranny is stock. I know it's not gonna last long but that's the next thing on my list. Thats why i need to keep it conservative for now. Car will be mostly street tracked very little. I was gonna wait on the blower and do the tranny first but the deal on the f1a was way to good to pass up. I'm afraid even conservative this thing is gonna make well over 700.

Jesus Christ that compression is low. With a F1A, very low comp, and a 5" pulley it will feel very sluggish at 10psi.

I know it's low I wish it was built to 9.3 or 9.5 but it's fine because I do plan on pushing the f1a to the max and when I do it won't matter having low compression when I'm making 20 lbs of boost I also will be able to run pump.gas and be able to get away without running meth. But my question is what kind of power should it make now

Since your car made 585 with a P-1SC at 10 psi, I'm assuming the blower was maxed out with your compression ratio being so low. The F-1A at 10 psi won't be working hard at all, and it should make more power than what you saw with the P-1SC, but it hard to say what you'll see as far as what it is going to make. Bob

Yeah it was maxed on a 3.4 pulley. I ordered that 5 inch pulley from your hoping to keep the boost lower I may end up callin you back to get a smaller pulley

In a GTO, I would keep that P1 over the F... with that motor/compression

Why do you say that? The only problem is the blower come on fast and runs out of steam to quick.. seems to small for the engine.
