Default silverado turbo 5.3 problems with tune

I have a 2001 silverado that I put a on 3 performance turbo kit on, I have #47 injectors, 3 bar map sensor, o2 sensors in the right places pretty sure, wideband guage, etc. The problem(s) I am having are; Surging at cruising speed(even when wideband shows its running 13-15 with no boost too) also lately it has been going all the way lean when given too much throttle then if you back off its okay, but if you shut it off let it sit for a bit then its fine, I am making just 5 lbs of boost with the wastegate i have and under full boost its nice and rich. Please let me know of some ideas, I would bring it to a professional tuner but I would like to learn more about it for future projects. Thanks in advance

Who makes the injectors? Did you populate the injector data tables with the appropriate data for these specific injectors?

they are actually #45 injectors i believe and they are from a mustang. Yeah I think I have all the right numbers in. We have not scaled the map I was just doing some reading on that because i didnt know what that meant really and that would make sense to me, will try it soon!

Some more info would help to give better ideas. Why the 3bar MAP instead of 2bar? Did you use the HPtuners 2bar SD option? Did you leave the MAF, because the IAT sensor is integrated into it? If you did leave the MAF, did you fail it in order to SD tune? If you failed it, what method, because the PCM may still be using information from it. It sounds like you may have quite a bit of reading to do just to find out the most efficient way to ask for help. Fortunately, all the info you need and more is available in this forum.

as for the going lean when getting into it I would think u need to play with your pe table. I like to flatline the curve to what I am commanding I think (1.3) and maybe do the same for the boost enrichment just to get a starting base line so fueling isn't all over. Last make your enrichment speed as fast as possible. I think like 2.000 or something. and bring your tps percentage for pe to something like 60% the stock 90% is to high.

post up a tune file. hard to know without looking over it.
