Car looks good. Those are some pretty stout numbers for the amount of track time on it.
Are you in Washington state or D.C.? We'll be in your area for WCF in a couple months if you're in the D.C. area. I'm sure we could give you a hand if you were coming out there.

I just weighed it at the dump a few weeks ago and it was 3400 without me in it and I'm 190 lbs. I dont understand how it's so heavy I was hoping to be around 3200. Everything is tubular, burkhart manual steering kit and spindles , strange drag brakes up front, light carpet. I'm guessing the rear end is a tank compared to the mwc 9" in my other car. I wish I could swap but this Moser 9" is narrowed 3" per side and has 5/8 studs. My fab 9" has all the 4 channel options so everything works as factory. I still have all the stock cloth seats and I plan to throw a set of kirkeys in which should help.

I shot this at the shakedown last year... this is what happens when you get aggressive with the ramp and weight is totally wrong.

I hope to god I never have that type of wheelie problem. That would destroy so much stuff.

The iron block isn't helping either. The interior is basically stock appearing but there is no hvac stuff. It has a chromoly cage with all the stock cloth seats in there. I just got my jegs (kirkey) seat in the mail and I might remove the rear seats because no one is ever sitting back there. I kind of like the stock interior look though.

They may be heavy but that snail can move some weight.
What's the details on the motor?
What boost controller are you running?

It's just a basic forged 6.0. 10:1 Bullet pistons, callies compstar rods, stock crank, arp head studs, ls9 gaskets, turbo cam from Martin, stock 317s, pro flo intake etc etc. I just have an aem tru boost.

My BTR 7.350 3/8 pushrods came in so fast I had no idea they were sitting in the mail box. I have a list of things to do but I'm just taking a break from working on the car this weekend. I plan to make a new alternator mount so I can fit the big truck 145 amp alternator and hope that fixes my charging low voltage issues.
Best 60' from last weekend 1.403 and I think it would have been super close to a 5.99 in the 1/8th with this 60' combined with the extra timing.

That things going to be fast if you can get it to come up on the converter faster, once you're able to put the power in down low it'll move out for sure.

Been pretty busy lately with life and I haven't been racing. I made a cold air intake setup from some stuff that I had laying around. Lots of fun being under a car with a cut off wheel for hours on a creeper. I really need a shop and lift! I spent a good amount of time swapping in a set of 3/8 pushrods also. FYI 3/8 pushrods do not clear stock 317 heads
Don't mind the temporary extra hose and clamp I need to get a longer pipe.
I also spent some time tuning on the trans brake and I tried 7 different strategies. I'm pretty impressed I've basically cut my spool time in half. I thought I had it dialed in pretty close but I found some big improvements. I'm sure the cooler weather is really helping too. I still think a PTC converter will be in store this winter.
Slow spool 2500 RPM Flash
Much better but still way too tight 2600 RPM Flash
Well I had to test out the new intake right? LOL

Notice a difference with the intake change? We can always go throw it on the rollers some weekend and play a bit more.
Might see you out at the track Saturday, haven't decided if i want to break my stuff yet or not.

Decided to run my car for our tracks last race of the season. It was real cool out and had been raining a lot the last few days. Luckily the day turned out pretty well and the track was hooking insanely good, too good ;( Car picked up a lot and I was super thrilled it seems to like the cool air and the cold air setup. I couldn't believe how hard it 60' and this is still the old MT 275/60-15 drag radial. Last pass of the day the car stood straight up and upon landing blew out both inner fenders and cracked my fender. Hoping I didn't bend anything but I still drove it home in one piece. This was all on 15-16 psi except the 119 mph pass in the 1/8th that was I think 17 psi? I'm definitely over revving and out of the power band because it's not gaining mph in the 1/4 spinning 7200 + rpm. Density altitude was around 2000' which is phenomenal for our track.
