how sluggish is boost motor B4 boost?
As the question asks.... I know the compression has a lot to do with it. Does the addition of headers, better intake/TB, tune, etc. make up for the lower compression performance loss before boost? I've heard some boost motors can be real slugs before boost. Tnx in advance.

A point drop in compression drops you how much horsepower? Not much.
It's pretty difficult to make a LSx V8 motor feel sluggish, especially down-low.... I think mods would easily make up for the point drop (or two) drop in CR. With 4-cyls it's another story, because they don't have a lot of down-low power as it is... V8's do.
