Default Forced induction with high compression

With a static CR of 12.23:1, DCR at 9.01:1 could a turbo or supercharger be done as long as the boost is kept low on the street, alot of timing pulled and a good tune or would it just be a ticking time bomb no matter what even with forged internals?

all in your tune. id say you would need to run race gas 24/7 though. with that high of a CR youd have trouble running boost and pump gas.

If your putting all the cash into a forced induction setup the cost of another set of pistons won't be that much more and you will be pretty happy with it on lower CR.

Plus you can probably sell your old pistons if they are in good shape and a popular bore size.

as long as you didnt run more that 1 lb of boost you would be fine. Really doesnt serve any purpose to pull out all of your timing. You would prevent detonation, but the power would drop off and lose the purpose for installing the blower.

yea no point in trying to run boost with that high of a cr you will only be able to run like 1 or 2 lbs
