Im going to run a w2w ls2 turbo short block and i was wondering if the LQ9 heads (to help lower the compression)will they work on that block or will i have to run lS2 heads. ive herd that the parts arent interchangalbe because the lS2 has a wider valley inbetween the heads, among other things. Thanx everyone.

Well, I know the LS2 runs #243 heads (Ls6) so I would imagine, since the #317's are the exact same design with a 71cc chamber, they would fit just fine, don't quote me, but I'm pretty damn sure they'll work just fine...

I never heard of that, But yeah they should wor, Best thing to do is to ask the guys who are building the block.
