Default Picture of a thread IAT sensor inside.

Since I'm installing an Alky kit, I wanted to measure the IAT's with and without so I could set a tune to pull timing if the Alky kit failed. Hard to do with an Incon TT because the maf and IAT are close to the throttle body. LPE makes a map relocation plug for the C6. I bought it and drilled/tapped the hole for a 1991 threaded Syclone IAT sensor. The plug goes where the EGR hole is on the FAST intake manifold. Places the sensor down stream from the Alky for a more accurate reading.

I have been looking at doing the same thing. I would like to know my IAT's.

Where did you get the parts? Part # on the stocker one? Are you going to use the stock "pig-tail"?

Thanks

David

IAT is a GM syclone GM# 25036751 has 3/8 18npt threads. $38

LPE # LN-BK28 kit for the EGR plug that must be drilled and tapped for the IAT sensor. Needs to be drilled in a drill press or the small existing map sensor hole will pull the drill bit too far to one side. $67
