I did my homework and want your opinion
OK, I'm thinking of changing the set-up of my car from a nitrous set-up to a homemade (i.e.budget very budget) tubro kit, now I did about 5 days worth of searching and reading and I just want your guys opinion on the turbo that I think will work with my daily driver.
SUPER T4 60-1 TURBO
.60 AR COLD
.84 AR HOT
Now this is just a street set-up on the mods in sig(basiclly stock). I want to run no more than 7 lbs of boost.(until i can a new forged motor) What do you guys think?
Here's the link of the turbo on ebay with some xtra parts HERE'S THE LINK

yep ive heard the stories also.... plus why go with a turbo your just going to have to sell later down the road and lose $$$ on...... if you are only going to run 7 psi then buy a bigger turbo.... set the boost on 7 psi anf then be bale to turn it up later down the road with the forged motor.........
Oh what turbo kit??? who's??? Who's going to tune it?? Install it???

Ok, NO turbo from ssautochrome, I don't know how i missed that in all the sreaches i did?! ok then what would you suggest? remember daily driver(weekend racer), not a drag car, limited budget, and at least a year or two before i want to touch the motor(forged).
don't even bother starting with that size turbo, it's a waste if you plan to do any motor work in the future.

For the cost of the turbo + the cost of fixing them it seems like its just better to buy a real turbo, at least a MP
My master power turbos are running strong still, it seems like they are fairly good *fingers crossed*

Street stuff that turbo; I think would be fine. I do not know alot about this stuff yet but I know that its better to work a turbo, then to have too big of one that you never plan on using.
Putting a 62-1 on the 6.0 Truck. Now the rpms are way lowers then a car but I think you will be fine.

I've done an ocassional low cost turbo system here and there (mainly fords) and I think the 60-1 is a little small for those cubes. My little brother is currently running a 60-1 on his basically stock 302 ford (ported iron heads and cam) and it runs good for that application, but it is pretty winded by 5500 rpm at 12-14 psi. I think you will quickly be looking for an upgrade with any mods to your stock engine. Go a little bigger from the start and save yourself the headache in the future.
I'll be going roots supercharged on my LS6, I just can't stand turbo lag with a manual transmission on my daily driver.

Trash that idea of the cam wanted in your sig if you go through with building your kit , stock cam will do just fine at that level. Also budget and turbo doesn't get along with each other . when you start adding up the reciets for this and that ..well you will see

yeah i forgot to mention if i do this turbo set-up i would not be doing the cam, or anything for that matter cause i'll be broke. I understand that it'll cost if i want it to perform the way i want it to, but i have lie to myself so i can sleep at night.

I was wondering the same thing. I tossed around the idea of making a single kit using the 60-1 for low boost and then later when desire/funds came along and the car was built up to handle more boost, adapting the kit to make it a twin kit using 2 60-1s.
