Default Close to engine/turbo time

Looks like I might have time to build my personal car.Still thinking of engine size and Turbo size. Car is a 00 Z(4k miles) with a 25.5 cage, mini tubs, wheelie bars ,parachute, all the bells and whistles. Will be running a powerglide too.Car will be street driven which will have a small(efficient) intercooler and a serious Meth system for the track.

here are the idea's.

370ci iron with 91,5mm turbo

408ciiron with 96mm turbo

370ci with twins -probly 70's.

What do you guy's think? I keep going back/forth on the combo

Haha exactly, Don has built a ton of badass huge HP street cars, but id love to see him do an all out strip build to see what kind of combo and numbers he can come up with. Don go all out and imagine how pissed mike will be if you have a car with almost double his HP!

They all sound like big fun to me. I like the 370 91.5 if I had to chose.

Now we get some answers

I'm pointing towards the 408ci ,91+mm turbo thing. The way I figure it the first motor will be a throw away.I will push it till it grenades. Then go from there. The car will be legal to 7.5's.I plan on working down the ladder.
As for $$. cheaper the better of course just as long as it isn't dangerous.I'll put the car together and do the turbo kit.

This will also be a street car to an extent. There is no way I'm dumping a ton of $$ into a car and not drive it

I like where ya started with your post......

Don, id love to see what you can do with some L92 stuff since a 4.03" bore is needed...... Iron block.... Buy the heads and the intake TB for $1500 from GMPP and add double springs and show people what that can do at the same time.....

Stock PCM with 3 bar??? or BS3??

I like the Glide with a 9" and 3.50 gear and what ever tire u decide.......
