Default T3-T4 Turbos

Good morning guys, I ran into a guy that had a set of turbos and was hard up for cash.
The turbos are T3-T4 hybrids, they are setup with stage 5 exhaust wheels and a .82 A/R
on the exhaust side and have a “E” compressor cover with a 60-1 compressor wheel.
Is there any one that on the board that has run this combo or know what there potential
may be on a 400 cube small block?

i dont really think they would be a problem. Several guys on turbomustangs use t3 exhaust housings. If i were to do a twin setup i would do a setup like that.

Look at a compressor map with your expected power output and engine size and see what the turbo would flow.

My thoughts are that a 400+ci motor will be wayyy too much displacement for those small turbos. I would say go with a 6L motor or even destroke it. Those turbos will run out of breath very early on a big ci motor. Just my .02

The stage 5 turbine is just a **** hair smaller than a P Trim.
It is in a .82 houseing as well. From what I can dig up on the 60-1
comp wheel it should be good for 550 hp thats on paper.
Has any one used this type of setup before ?

Hp Performance has stage X C5 kit that looks like a stage 5 T3 turbine with a 60-1
comp wheel.
I called and ask them about the set up and they sead in so many words it was top
secret.
I,ve seen this stage X kit make 800+ rwhp with a 427 C5 while spinning the
tires on the dyno.
