5.3L Block (LS4?) bore to 5.7L for FI?
I've heard a few people talk about doing this... Basically getting the smaller motor and boring it out, while still allowing there to be more meat on the cylinder walls.. And I think there's a shorter stroke allowing more revs, but I'm not sure..
I've been curious, has anyone on here done this setup? Are the stated benefits above correct?

I think he is talking about the aluminum 5.3 block. I have read that the aluminum 5.3 and newer 5.7 blocks have exactly the same sleeves and its no problem boring them to 5.7 size.
Thats what I remember reading anyhow. Crapload of 5.3 aluminum blocks were floating around a couple years ago cheap if I recall and thats why it was brought up.

I know about the turbos choking out on a large motor.. If I ever got my hands on an Incon kit, I'd definitely keep stock cubes, or even less...
