Why does a mustang dyno read so much different then dynojet. Happy with car it feels good. Just didnt understand.

@ 7psi....... wow ive seen sts cars @ 5 psi put down 410+whp with no intercooler locally on a dyno dynamics dyno.

A 390 RWHP car is not going to pull a new 600cc CBR from a roll the way we did with everything working against us, passanger, windows down, no bumper cover on the car, pulled timing and him getting a run on us.

best way to tell what your car is running is take it to the track and check the MPH

Hmmmm. What kind of timing are you running in boost? They do seem low IMO, but like he said...dyno numbers don't mean everything.
At 6psi through the FMIC, I'm at 465ish and 475tq running 18 degrees of timing on the dynojet.
1/8 mile track with a ridiculously awesome 60' time of 2.3xx seconds, I pulled 89 mph. I have done a couple things since...I'd be curious to go back out and see what it does now. M6 w/ street radials + turbo = non-drag strip car .

Ya those numbers seem good cause i have seen up to a 50rwhp loss from a mustang to a dyno jet!!! so i would just go to the track and have fun with it. sounds like you a fun street car!! good luck with it

Like I said above Im thoroughly impressed with vehicle. Your right look at your car numbers mean nothing. Just wanted to compare and contrast what others have found. Car is running great thanks to your tune. I am very happy with your work. And yes we demolished the 600rr like nothing. ONce again Thank to ZombieSS for the tune and the vehicles first kill..

10.1:1 compression, 91 octane and 100+ daily temps just do not get along.
Every thing in vegas is slow and makes less power.
With the weather we have right now a stock LS1 will not even trap 100mph. My stock SRT 4 traps 92 mph... weather sucks.

weather out here effects big time. Dont get me wrong the car is fast, but you can lose almost a full second in the 1/4 between east and west coast. Vegas sucks, it was 11:30 at night when we were tuning and the temp outside was 94. Makes a difference with the 100 octane, I love it.

i would look at it in 2 ways, yes the number seems low, but track times tell all, look at Zombie
my car with fmic, fuel, GT67 and 7.5psi made 472/501, but it wouldn't do **** at the track if i wanted it too, i street race

2002/Black/SS I have no reason to lie. This is a comparisson and Im getting feedback. The tuner was driving and myself the owner was in the passenger seat as we destroyed this bike. No lies here. I wouldnt give false data for my own comparison.

LMAO, dude, you have no idea how slow a 600cc bike is here in vegas. It's rare that I see one trap over 120mph at the track. Yes, he was racing, yes he dropped gears (I even gave him the jump), and yes we pulled him good, he hung upto about 90 mph then it was all over. Bike guys always have such huge egos, even the 600cc guys, it's fun to crush them. 90% of the 600's are high 11 sec bikes, low 11's with a good rider. Welcome to summer in Vegas, the black hole vortex that sucks up your HP.
I have only ever seen 1 600 cc bike here in vegas break into the 10's (10.8 @ 124) and it was in cooler weather with an extremely good rider, the bike was also modded extensively (geared, strapped, lowered, full race pipe, tuned, etc). A 155 RWHP 03 GSXR 1000 was trapping 133-134 mph a few weeks ago.
I guess you wouldn't believe that I have at least 10 liter bike kills (GSXRs, CBRs, R1s) to my name. That's when I'm running 15psi and 91 octane, not my race tune and 18psi.
If you guys really want to pick on his 7psi dyno number, his uncorrected was something like 365 RWHP LOL

this is alittle different and off topic, but my Blown 94 z28 A4 with no FMIC,stock heads ported, stock cam,stock crank and boltons put down 400rwhp 387rwtq on a mustang dyno and this was with the new fuel pump(walbro grr ) going bad at 5500rpm it would cut out and also my plugs were junk from being washed out. motor was solid till the dyno shop had it and motor blew up shortly after. thought i would share my numbers and i was running 7psi.
