Exclamation Boost

hi, I've been trying the search feature for about 30 min. now and to no luck i just keep getting an error. Because i have work soon I decided just to ask on here. How much boost can a stock Ls1 engine take reliably? I'm thinking about getting the STS remote mount turbo system(although i don't really like the sound) but i do not really know to much about what I'm doing so i'm getting started with this.

Doesn't need to be extreme for a Procharger either.....the old axiom of you get what you pay for is never more true than when you enter the world of F/I IMO. My initial procharger was their P1SC kit at 7 psi on stock motor. Very pleased and impressed with it.....then I became addicted

yea thats why i say for now. If i go with the procharger i will probably get a super capable of allot of boost yet only use it at a fraction of its potential until i can get some more money for parts to increase the durability of the car. I always get bored with what i got. I just want it to feel like it did when i drove it for the first time
