Default D1SC Power Potential????

I was planning on a bult motor with a twin turbo setup over the winter, but my friend offered me a great deal on a D1SC. I don't know the potential of this setup and was wondering what kind of power it would support. All i know is that it is the 8 rib setup with intercoolers. Planning on a 370 ci all forged with good heads. Motor plans may change later though.

Start with my car. A minimum of 535 rwhp with the P1SC. Very easy to achieve with a very conservative tune. Thats with stock heads and stock bottom end. The numbers will only go up from there with other members.

Yer gonna max the lil p1 out quick with that cid... Upgrage to a d1sc and crank the **** outta it (call bob at epp - if you need ANYTHING procharger - he's da man!... With the right setup, you'll 9s or if you can mimic mine or kps setup, low 9s or high 8s...

Thanks guys, I appreciate it! The D-1SC gets maxed out generally around 750 rwhp on my Mustang Chassis Dyno. This is going to depend on the engine combination, and the type of dyno that is being used.
Here is a 402 that we got 757 rwhp with the D-1SC.

Or you can piece your own setup together...

Call epp - bob will hook ya up!

With the right setup, you'll see close to 1000hp @ the crank and well over 700 @ the tires on a stang dyno...

This is a little off topic but doesnt the D1sc have a different ramp rate than the F1 blowers

So even if the D1 and the F1 make the same peak power the F1 will produce more area under the curve, everything else being equal.

Depending on DCR around 750-800rwhp is the limit of airflow for a D1.If you want more power run higher compression like 10-1 and blled DCR with the Cam. We've done 900rwhp but it is with higher compression and race gas to keep detination out.
