393 kit goin turbo to much compression

Default 393 kit goin turbo to much compression

sup yalls. i've called on the engine combination the 393 stroker 4.10 stroke 3.905 bore. but the lowest compression i can get it in is a 10.75:1. im running a 70cc head. im plannin on pushin 6psi normally and up to 12lbs at the track. anybody have an idea how to get my compression down. i was told the head gaskets would only drop me to 10.35:1 apporx. can they take anything out of the chambers by chance? any help is greatly appreciated.

Honestly I would go with a built 347ci or a iron 370ci... I believe a 4.1 stroke is too much for forced induction and you can definitely save some money going with the stock crank...

Yesh on the 347 or 364/370. The ch on that piston must be pretty short.

I have been running a 395" 4.125 stroke and a 3.90 bore and it has been ok till the Comp R lifter came apart and ruined the block. It will be back on the road again hopefully within a week andit should be very reliable. I am not sure of the compresion but I think it is around 9.5 to 10.0 using 6.0 heads.The motor will have about 12# on it.

are you planning on a turbo? if so those engines like to spin.
id go a smaller crank if it was me
